ARTISTIC ACHIEVEMENTS
La Li was born on Aug 2002 in Hangzhou China, currently a cello student at the Juilliard School Pre-college Division.

PERFORMANCES
Martin Engstroem, the founder of the Verbier Festival, has invited La Li to perform in the Festival, and the 5th mini Verbier Festival in Munich. Li La performed as both soloist and chamber music musician with pianist Julien Quentin, violinist Alexandra Conunova.
Li La has worked with the orchestras such as: Zhejiang Symphony Orchestra, Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra, Shanghai Opera House Symphony Orchestra, Moscow Virtuosi (formed with principles from Russian Orchestras), the State Symphony Orchestra “New Russia”. And conductor such as: Vladimir Spivakov, Yury Tkachenko, Muhai Tang, Guoyong Zhang, etc.

HONOURS AND AWARDS
At 9, La Li won the numerous first prizes in the international music competitions. In the 13th Osaka International Music Competition, La Li won the first prize (second vacancy) of the string E1, and also won the Best String Performance Award and the Kobe Mayor Award. In the 9th "Antonio Janigro" International Cello Competition in Croatia in 2012, La Li participated in senior group and won the first prize, while she was the only winner who was invited to the closing performance. In the following year on the 24th Fulham International Music Competition in Paris, La Li again won the first grand prize with full score given by all jurors. In 2014 La Li reported in the 8th Tchaikovsky International competition for Young Musicians in Moscow, which was one of the most important events for Young Musicians. It was given an unusual historical significance since it had been hold for the first time in 1992 at its original place in Moscow. La Li once again won the first prize with Gold Medal, and she became the youngest championship of cello competition for that time.

EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCES
At the age of 4, she began to learn the piano from Professor Lin Yinglong, teacher of Zhejiang Normal University Preschool Teachers’College. At the age of 7, she began to learn cello from Zhang Baojun, former principle cellist of Zhejiang Symphony Orchestra. At the same year, she studied with cello professor Cao Min from Shanghai Conservatory of Music. At the age of 9, she was admitted to primary school affiliated to Shanghai Conservatory of Music. In 2016, La Li was admitted to the Juilliard School Pre-college Division, as a cello student under the cello professors of Richard L Aaron and Sieun Lin.
La Li has participated in masterclasses with the professor David Geber, vice president of Manhattan School of Music; Ulf Schade, cellist of Achat Trio; the renowned cellists Frans Helmerson and Natalie Gutman, Mischa Maisky, Lynn Harrell, David Geringas, Alisa Weilerstein.
