As a cellist, Mr. Nie have been invited as a soloist from many Ochestras and Music Festivals in the world, including Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, Xiamen Philharmonic Orchestra, Qingdao Symphony Orchestra, Hebei Symphony Orchestra, Evergreen Symphony Orchestra in Asia. Brevard Philharmonic Orchestra, USC Symphony Orchestra, Georgia State University Symphony Orchestra in USA. Ljubjana Music Festival, Carniarmonie Festival, Emilia Romagna Festival, Ravello Festival, Erfestival in Europe.

EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE
Cellist Jiapeng Nie was born in 1989 and brought up in a musical family in Shenzhen, China. He began studying the piano at the age of 4. Although it was expected Nie would follow in his father’s footsteps and become a violinist, he unexpectedly discovered the cello. At the age of 9 years old, he began diligently studying the cello.
In 2005, Nie was enrolled at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music of the National University of Singapore, and due to his exceptional achievements was accepted by the distinguished Cello Professor Li-Wei Qin. While in Singapore, he received high praise, including reviews from The “Straits Times”: “Young cellist Nie Jiapeng was the star in the concert. Jiapeng’s excellent interplay with the orchestra made for a perfect performance.”
In 2010, Nie was accepted by the Hochschule für Music und Theater Hamburg to pursue a Master’s Degree, where he studied with Professor Arto Noras and Professor Niklas Schmidt. In 2013, Nie completed his Master’s Degree, and started Konzertexman Degree with Professor Arto Noras.
