Long Long is one of most promising, most sought-after Chinese tenors in international opera houses. He is among a few Chinese singers who sings leading roles in premiere stages such as Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, Amsterdam Opera, Bayerische Staatsoper, Hamburgische Staatsoper, Semperoper Dresden, Israel National Opera, Teatro Municipal de Santiago, Salzburg Festival, Bregenz Festival, Polish National Opera, Dallas and Atlanta Operas, Glyndebourne Festival etc.
Long Long is the winner of the renowned NEUE STIMMEN singing competition, the first prize winner in the International Music Competition Harbin (China), the third prize winner of the Francisco Viñas Singing Contest, and of the Moniuszko Vocal Competition in Warsaw. In 2017 he was awarded the Giovani Voci Verdiane prize as the winner of the Verdi competition in Busseto. His victory at the Grand Prix de l'Opera in Bucharest in 2016 was followed by an invitation from Maestro Gianni Tangucci to the Accademia del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.
Recent and upcoming engagements of the Chinese tenor Long Long include his house debut as Rodolfo in Puccini’s La Boheme and as Tamino in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte in Semperoper in Dresden, as Tamino in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London, Rodolfo in La Bohème with Glyndebourne Festival, Staatsoper Hamburg, Atlanta Opera,Duca in Rigoletto with Bregenzer Festspiele, and Staatstheater Hannover, stage debuts as Alfredo in La Traviata with Ópera Nacional de Chile and Teatre Principal de Palma, Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni and Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor at the stage of Israeli Opera.

Long Long completed his studies at the Music Academy in Shanghai with Prof. Chen Xing, and the University Opera Research Institute in Beijing with Prof. Dai Yuqiang. He received Singer’s Diploma at Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover. He is now artist-in-residence of the Chinese University of Hong Kong Shenzhen Conservatory of Music, guest professor of Shanxi University Conservatory of Music. He conducted masterclasses in the University Opera Research Institute in Beijing, Wuhan Conservatory of Music, Shandong University Conservatory of Music, Shandong Arts Academy, Jiangxi Musicians Association, Guangming Culture & Art Center Concert Hall in Shenzhen. He gave recitals in Victoria Concert Hall in Singapore, Beijing Concert Hall, Qintai Concert Hall in Wuhan, Changsha Concert Hall, Guangming Culture & Art Center Concert Hall, China National Opera Theater, etc., and was highly acclaims.
In June 2021, Long Long recorded his first album under invitation from Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, who accompanied a whole recital for him. The concert was warmly reviewed in Poland. In October 2020, Long Long was interviewed by Opernglas, which featured him on its cover in October edition. In 2024, Long Long has been the recipient of Maria Callas Debut Award for his performance in Romeo et Juliette in Dallas Opera.
In the forthcoming season (September 2024-July 2025), Long Long will sing title role in Faust in Toronto Opera, Maria Stuarda in Hamburgische Staatsoper, La Boheme in Semperoper Dresden, La Traviata in Opernhaus Düsseldorf. More importantly, he is going to sing in two major opera houses in Berlin in the same season - Lucia Di Lammermoor in Staatsoper Berlin and Romeo et Juliette in Deutsche Oper Berlin. In summer of 2025, he is going to sing a new production of La Boheme in Santa Fe Opera.
