Since 2011 Jiang has cooperated with several celebrated orchestras such as China Philharmonic Orchestra, Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra, Qingdao Orchestra, Wuhan Philharmonic Orchestra and so on.i In May 2013 Jiang's performance in the Concert of the Musicians of the Future of 30th Shanghai Spring International Music Festival won him wide plaudit. Jiang served as violin soloist at the Final Performance of Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra 2012-2013 season.

In May 2013 in the 20th Andrea Postacchini International Violin Competition, Jiang won the second prize in Group D (for adults) where he became the youngest award-winner. In November 2011 Jiang was awarded the Silver Prize of the 8th Golden Bell Award for violin, which earned him praises from music masters such as Sheng Zhongguo and Yu Long.

In August 2014 in the Aspen Music Festival, Jiang won the Dorothy Delay Fellowship.

Jiang Yiliang was born in 1996 in the city of Wuxi in Jiangsu Province. Jiang started to learn violin at the age of six and was admitted to the Music Elementary School Affiliated to Shanghai Conservatory of Music in 2006 since when he has been studying under the illustrious violin educationalist Prof. Fang Lei.
